I came across Cornbread and Chopsticks while trying to figure out what a blog was because people were asking if I had one.  I have come to respect and truly enjoy Annie's approach and her voice. Her post today is so eloquent for what she doesn't force.  Please go for this link and consider what your heart may prompt you to pursue.  It may not be international adoption.  It may be something else.  It will be out of your comfort zone like posting your 'before' pics on the web.
